Cats for sale 11/08/2009

An allergy to Sparkle's fur, plus real estate, has forced me to part with two cats. I have three.

Sparkle is a Ragdoll and has a lovely temperament. Ben is very shy of people but after time he will learn to love the hand that feeds him. I would like to sell the cats together, so he would have Sparkle to help him adjust.

Just a reminder aboue Tania's pregnancy ritual being held this Sunday, 1 November 2009 at 2 pm.

Everyone is welcome to come along and celebrate this joyous rite of passage. There has been a lot of confusion around this date, because Cottage-time and Tania-time at this time of the year is just hectic (plus we had John Overholt booked to use the Cottage every weekend in November and that has since changed), however we just wanted to reiterate the correct details, so that as many of you as possible can come. So, this Sunday, 1 November 2009, 2 pm start.

Everybody welcome. You are asked to bring
  1. something to share for afternoon tea (tea/coffee/drinks available by gold coin donation),
  2. a small floral altar offering (which Tania will keep), and
  3. your copy of the ritual, which will be uploaded later this week.

Regarding gifts, you have three choices:
  1. purchase a small gift for Tania and the baby,
  2. add to the Rose Cottage donation being collected this week - the collection box is on the counter clearly marked - all money raised will be presented to Tania on the day, or
  3. neither or the above.

Over the last couple of years both Tania and her daughters have become regular faces in the Cottage environment - we would love to see as many people show up on Saturday afternoon to help celebrate this giant transition in their lives.

Newbies are welcome.

Two last things:
  1. A couple of volunteers to arrive at about 12.30 pm to help me tidy up, set up and prepare would be great.
  2. Tania - please arrive no earlier than 2 pm ...

If you haven't already seen it, you may wish to rush out and buy today's Herald (Newcastle) and see some of the fun from Friday night's art exhibition opening.

Our Pagan artwork exhibition was spectacular with tons of sales and complements - I am hoping we can talk Renata into organising another one for next year.

Thank you to everyone for your continued support of the Cottage and its many varied endeavours.

We are a special community indeed.

Lisa has been having quite a few email issues at her person email address lisaballico@hotmail.com and has activated an automatic response to help her handle the load a bit better.

Please don't be alarmed or offended if you receive an automated response immediately after you email her - if your query requires a response (and so many don't) from her, she will get to it ASAP - however, this way, you will at least know that she has received your email.

Frequent mailers should only receive the automated response every couple of days.

Lisa is also asking that you no longer send 'joke' emails and/or images, graphics, etc. unless they directly apply to her or the Cottage - this will also help her handle her email load/time more efficiently.

Also reminding you all that for Cottage and YAAD enquires, you can contact rosecottagenewcastle@gmail.com or our website rosecottage.weebly.com.
