From the moment I stepped through the door of the Cottage, not knowing what to expect, I was welcomed with incense wafting around. Beckoning me inside were the ladies of the Cottage, Lisa and Renata, two down to earth goddesses. Happy faces and busy groups of like-minded people gathering for various classes filled the Cottage. The presence inside is amazing - when you visit you will understand and feel the ambience. I am in a Tarot group, sharing and learning with a group of ladies who in a short time have become friends. This place is like an oasis to the body, mind and soul. I feel very privileged to be part of the "family" at the Cottage. Laughter throughout the Cottage is infectious, but quiet times and solitude are part of the make up as well. Each visitor is treated as an honoured guest with courtesy and genuine respect. All I can say ... is come by ... see for yourself ... there is something for everyone!
Lisa must be the most welcoming and loving individual I have ever met. From the moment I walked in for spiritual counselling, I knew that something significant was going to happen. She and Renata are wonderfully engaging teachers with a lot of patience and understanding. The Cottage is a truly welcoming place and I have learnt a lot of things from being there. A few times I have physically felt my third eye opening and expanding. Lisa has encouraged me into reading for others and now I have been given the priceless gift of reiki and I feel tremendous gratitude for this. Words can't express my joy at having found this spiritual community.
Although I haven't joined in with many of the activities that the Cottage provides (often due to other commitments), my experiences have always been very positive. The people are very warm and welcoming with a friendly family atmosphere. They have interesting and enjoyable activities as well as many great guest speakers and workshop settings. The Cottage offers a conductive atmosphere for sharing, and for learning about our Spiritual Being-ness and who we are in this world.
Hi Lisa :)
Thank you, thank you, thank you sooooo much for yesterday. I really enjoyed sharing the day with you, Heidi, Wendy and Eva; it was just brilliant. The photos came out amazing and doesn't Heidi just look absolutely gorgeous with that huge smile!!
It didn't dawn on me until last night either ... but yesterday morning at 8:23 (when I finally said get up and go to Reiki) I was visited by four doves!!! (Hello Zoe! lol) Then you gave the four of us girls our pendants ... a dove with a message. I love the way Spirit works, just lovely :) But I know I was definitely in the right place yesterday. Thank you all for sharing, caring, loving and supporting.
As far as the Reiki energy, the soles of my feet have not stopped tingling and it's fantastic because I finally feel continually grounded now. Thank you so much for this and I thank all the guides and masters who came to help also. They were working well in those first two attunements to get me grounded and I tell you what, I thought I was doing ok (not fabulous, but ok) with the gift of sight, but my third eye chakra is definitely getting worked on :) When bringing in the energy to do Reiki, I notice my left eye and third eye feel slightly 'squeezed' and I am getting a slight pressure in my head, more to the top of the head.
My hands have been tingling for most of the time since the attunements and I even practised on my doggies last night and boy oh boy did they love it ... Diesel especially. It is so much fun to see and feel it working. I can't wait to get out and do it to the plants, lol.
The other thing I have been feeling in my hands is not pain as such, but as if I have been using a shovel or something. You know that calloused kind of feeling? Like you've been toiling in the garden or mowing the lawn and you get that swollen king of sensation? Sorry I can't find the words to describe it ... hope that makes some sense!!
Thank you again, for welcoming me to the Cottage and opening up, sharing your heart. So that I may heal myself and help others. Thank you for letting me share with Trevor :) xx and beautiful William, who still sleeps on your bed xx
I hope today has been just as wonderful for you.
Much love and many smiles :)
PS: By the way, today I am finally putting pen to paper and starting my gratitude diary. 'Stop talking about it,' I said to myself, 'and just do it.' You are my first entry :) Cheers gorgeous goddess xx
