Year and a Day Wiccan studies
As anyone who has started out on a Wiccan/Pagan path will attest, finding teachers and gaining clarity and understanding can be a huge step to overcome.
This is where YAAD will help.
The course offers three levels of training and development in all aspects of Wicca and Witchcraft. All three levels are run over a period of a Year and a Day.
Novice level is a prerequisite for Initiate level, and Novice and Initiates levels are prerequisites for Priestess/Teacher level.

It's time to start the list of people wishing to participate in our YAAD program, Level One (Novice) which will commence in early 2010. We have a novice intake limit of 10 people and so it is important that if you wish to be part of this program that you get your name down early to be notified of all details pertaining to it.

Level One: Novice - 'Observing Wicca'
This is an intense year and a day of Wiccan learning.
Thirteen lessons, each lesson over a period of four weeks. There is a large emphasis on home study and bookwork. We currently have six Novices doing our level one Wiccan study course and the feedback has been tremendous.
Your mentors are practising Witches and Wiccans (no, they are not the same thing) and your year will be full to the brim with new knowledge and experiences. You will participate in a formal Wiccan Commitment ceremony (at the start of your year) and an Initiation and Dedication ceremony (at the completion of the year) as well.
This is a huge year and will focus on Wiccan basics and forming bonds of Sisterhood that will last for lifetimes.

Level Two: Initiate - 'Living Wicca'
During this year, the now Dedicated Witch goes further into the basics learnt the previous year - expanding knowledge and practical experience in Wicca and spell craft. Initiates are those who are keen to know more, do more and take more power into their world and in Rose Cottage life. Initiates have an active part in the Novice course and if required may be assigned a Novice in the 'buddy system' to assist.
The Initiate group are also to be fully in charge of Cottage Esbats for the next year - organising dates, writing rituals as well as working through the seasonal Sabbats in a hands-on project form.

Level Three: Priestess/Teacher - 'I Am Witch'
A year of working closely with your mentors and sisters to deepen your understanding and application of Wiccan principles and beliefs in everyday life. Life at this stage is no longer separate sections of home, family, Wicca, work, but a more flowing integration of all.
Level Three sees you living Wicca and preparing to teach others to live Wicca as well.
The Priestess group will be responsible for the Sabbat celebrations of the Cottage and also for assisting in overseeing Novice and Initiate training.
